Simple three-wire connection only requires a 12V power source and an external coil such as the ALL81232, which is designed specifically for ready to install distributors. The small bodied design is perfect for early muscle cars where firewall clearance is often a concern. CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing has a sealed upper support bearing and an extra-long lower bronze bushing for smooth operation and accurate timing at higher RPMs. Distributors include a molded cap and rotor with brass and stainless steel contacts, a vacuum advance lock out, a mechanical curve kit with advance springs and stop bushings, spark plug wire retainer cap with screws, and instructions.
